Warning: an unusual work! One of the painter's most sought-after works! And a nod to Der blaue Reiter in Munich (Kandinsky, Franz Marc...). Picasso had his favourite animals: the bull, his dog Lump and his goat. Guillaume Corneille's bestiary included countless animals: greyhounds, cats, fish, elephants and all kinds of birds, in highly colourful works in the wake of Matisse, Gauguin and Van Gogh. Original serigraph by the painter Guillaume Corneille (1922-2010), born in Liège of Dutch parents and a founding member of the Cobra group with Karel Appel, Asger Jorn, Constant, Dotremont and later Alechinsky and Jacques Doucet. Signed and dated in pencil by the artist.
